HOW YOU CAN HELP US MINISTER TO THOSE IN NEED:
We may not be able to make everything better and solve all of the world's problems; however, we can make a difference in the lives of those we minister to. When Jesus Christ walked on this world with us, He helped people on a local level, and taught us to do likewise. At. St. Seraphim's we take that teaching seriously. We often wonder where the resources will come from to feed the families that we serve, but just like the miracle where Jesus fed the crowds with only a few loaves of bread and a couple of fish, He always provides a way. Many times it is through the generosity of those who also take His teachings seriously and contribute to our effort.
"And the King shall answer and say to them, verily I say to you, inasmuch as you have done these things for the least of these My brethren, you have done them for Me." (Matthew 25:40)

The prayer we say before we deliver the food to our Food Pantry families: By: Father Michael Almighty Lord, by Your Holy words in the Scriptures, You asked us to care for the poor and needy. Look down upon us this day as we endeavor to fulfill Your Holy Will. Guide our steps that we may walk closely behind You. Bless our efforts that they may bear good fruit and may comfort and assist those whom we serve. Fill our hearts with Your love so that we may reach out to our community and do whatever we can to relieve hunger. As you have blessed us so well, let us bless others from humble and contrite hearts. Remember those whom we serve, protect them, guide them, and heal them from every infirmity. In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
